MSB Energy Associates - Customer Aggregation

In today’s increasingly deregulated market place, market power may elude small customers unless they aggregate to purchase their energy requirements as a group.

Any type of customer buying group (neighborhood associations, large commercial entity or industrial association) can implement an aggregation group. Additional services can be integrated into an aggregation program, including marketing of the parent organization, energy efficiency projects, metering systems, green power options or bulk procurement of goods and services.

At MSB, we are implementing electric and natural gas aggregation opportunities for clients and helping to design energy cost reductionand programs.

Project Spotlight

Exploring for aggregation opportunities, MSB is currently reviewing natural gas bills for the 250 members of the Wisconsin Health Care Association. A group buying strategy has been developed that takes advantage of Wisconsin’s progressive unbundling of gas services.

Annual energy bill savings for qualifying facilities are projected to be 8-10%.
